On May 29th, Ronny and Evelyn presented the peacecamp-project on the Jewish Street Festival in Vienna.
The Monument behind our stand is a memorial for the victims of the Holocaust
In the course of the past few decades, Austria has been making a visible and authentic effort to deal with its role in the Holocaust and to seek conciliation with the victims of the Holocaust.
As a result, new and positive ties have been building up and strengthened between Austria and the Jewish Community.
Presenting the peacecamp-project at the Jewish Street Festival is a way to make Israeli and Palestinian efforts to create a peaceful coexistence between the two nations visible.

For the weather forecast check
http://www.dobersberg.gv.at/system/web/wetter.aspx?menuonr=218670094&gnr_search=1145&bezirkonr=0
Weather can be quite unstable in this region, even in July.
Temperatures can be quite high ( up to 30°) during the day and drop in the evening (down to 12-13°).
You will need light cloths (like in Israel) - shorts, short-sleeve-T-Shirts, etc., but definitively also a good warm sweater or sweat-shirt and long trousers/shirts in the evening, and a water-proof jacket for rainy days..
I suggest that you bring long sleeve-pyjamas for the night.
Please check the list "what to bring" in this site
